ABSTRACT

The idioms having an important role in our language vocabulary are meaningful patterns which give narration vividness fluency and tell a lot with limited words. Turkish is quite rich in idioms when compared with other languages. In our study the idioms taken from thesis on Kırklareli dialect,the texts we compiled and collation dictionary have been analyzed in respect to origin,syntax and meaning.
