Abstract

The violin, which is defined as the smallest member of the string instrument family, is not only a wide range of sounds but also a fretless instrument and it is very technically rich with its difficulties. It is divided into two as right hand technique and left hand technique. While learning the instrument in violin education, correct working habits are important to develop technically and musically. In this study, it is aimed to be useful by presenting the transitions that are one of the left hand techniques, position studies and study suggestions that can be used in transferring them to the student.
